When buying a name pin consider its purpose. If the pin is for an in store environment, your name will be paramount. If it is for a tradeshow you want prospects to focus on the name of your organization. Answers to these questions and whether you have a logo that needs to be added allow us to help determine the layout and size of pin and its text.
Pins range in cost from $7.50 to $25 depending on the complexity of the engraving. Magnet backs are very popular and add $1.50.
Listed below, with links to color choices for the plastics, are our standard materials.

Textured plastic
Unbelievably durable, it was developed for the military and
is in use at the Antarctic stations. I tried to scratch one
with a screw driver (thinking teenagers for a local high school
order), and an almost invisible mark was all that happened.
These engrave crisply and look professional for
a long time. Click

Metalex plastic
For name pins, this material gives the classic look of brass,
pewter or silver, with much better durability.
It also has higher contrast, as we are engraving through the
‘metal’ directly into a contrasting color below.

Sublimation
These are primarily metal name pins made with a heat/pressure
transfer procedure. They are UV stable, and thus won’t
fade and allow for multiple colors. Since colors shift dependant
on the background color, white is the best choice if near-PMS
color matching is important. Sublimatable plastic is rather thick for namepins but the colors are awesome.
Metal
We have a number of brass colors available. Mostly we use
gold, black (gold brass coated with a black material to give
higher contrast), or silver brass. Each of these gives a traditional,
classic appearance. We cut these to your size specifications.
Also available are pre-made pins of thicker metal, with metal
frames or mother-of-pearl. Some use a paint fill for contrast.
