Engraving
Engraving truly is a skilled trade and should have certified levels of attainment as with other trades. Dawn Hartman is clearly a Master of the trade and Margi Swett, one of the owners, is somewhere around senior-level journeyman. Engraving is where the difference between us and our competition become apparent. For the most part we can all order the same products to engrave but the end result is in the skill of the engraver.
While we are usually able to engrave swords, Ipods, stethoscopes, guns and other odd items; for standard things we prefer to engrave our own products. We know their quality and engravability and if we do make a mistake or have a machine slip, we can easily replace the item.
For outside items, there is a set-up charge which ensures we can hold the item securely, and can work with any odd shape requirements. We suggest that customers consider whether something is an heirloom or a memento, or even a trinket. Each level has a particular value. To us a trinket may be just as difficult and time-consuming as an heirloom.
Sublimation
This word means many things in different contexts. In
the awards industry, it refers to embedding dyes permanently
into metal or plastic. The process we use does not fade even
in direct sunlight. This is a full-color process and can be
quite cost-effective compared to engraving. If you like to
design things at home, you create a file which we can print
as is. Sublimation is also a wonderful choice for large quantities.
We have the ability to do medallions, plaques, coffee and
travel mugs, signs, name pins and other items.

Medals
We do not manufacture medals, but work with several high-quality
companies that are wholesale only. The field has become so
competitive that it is often nearly the same price to have
a medal customized for your event as to buy generic medals.
The quantity usually determines the cost-effectiveness.
Ribbons
Customized ribbons can make your event special. With our supplier,
which makes its products here in the US, we can even have
medals done very inexpensively by customizing the ribbon rather
than the medal. There are no minimums and of course we can
supply the generic place and participant ribbons. Visit the

Award website for more product information.
Banners
etc.
Banners in multiple layers of felt are a timeless reminder of sports and school days. These are high quality and will last a very long time. The sports letters are made with felt and leather, just like your dad had all those years ago. While most people with a computer can make a certificate, the quality of the ‘old fashioned' version is unbeatable. They are inexpensive and can be customized easily. Visit Nixon
Awards for more information.
Laminated
Plaques
To preserve a document like a diploma, magazine article or
photograph indefinitely, these plaques are the way to go.
Neither water or sun will harm the item laminated.
Picture Plaques
Team photos make really great coach, teacher or sponsor gifts. These ready made plaques with space for the photograph and an engraving plate below are nice quality and inexpensive.
Certificate Holders
To preserve a certificate awarded for meeting attendance or skill attainment the two best options are lamination or the certificate holder. The lamination is permanent and generally more expensive that the holder. The certificate slides in the side and may be hung in either orientation.
Promotional Products
From very inexpensive items like pencils or key chains, to
Weber grills and Zeiss binoculars, it is possible to have
your company name, logo or event engraved or printed. With
over 3800 suppliers, we feel we can bring our customers the
quality and variety they need.
Flag Boxes – Flag and Medal Boxes
These are particularly popular with military, police and firefighters. The boxes we sell are American made of high-quality cherry and are really beautiful. There is more of a variety available than shown here, please call for more options. In many models medals may be added to a flag box (as with the piece shown here.) We engrave a plate to explain or memorialize the individual being recognized. The space is larger enough for fairly detailed information.
Bronzed items
From baby shoes to boxing gloves, most things can be bronzed. When Jogbra was a Vermont company we used to get a miniature bra bronzed and then mount it for their annual sales award. The picture has a good sampling, but it is only the beginning.
Stamps
From small self-inkers, very large conventional stamps, special-need-ink
stamps and embossers, we can fill your needs.
Turn around time is generally within a week, and we feature several products lines as each manufacturer has its own strengths and items we prefer .
